July 2020 Call for Art

CALL TO ARTISTS – Saturday, July 18, 2020
At DIM. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
Submit pics! 2D or 3D art.

It can be a piece you already have… or Create new statement or tribute art about social injustice. Maybe submit portraits of those who lost their lives with little to no justice or consequence. It does not have to be literal… Maybe an abstract emotion on how you perceive systemic inconsistencies in our police or legal system. Its up to you!

It’s free!
WE ARE LIMITED space wise so two submission max and we may only be able to display one… (we want to include as many different people as possible.)

THOSE SUBMITTING FROM OUTSIDE OF SPRINGFIELD, IL area… We would literally need art pieces to be at the gallery in Springfield during this mid/late -July show.

May From A Distance Virtual Gallery Show

Saturday May 16th we host another live stream Gallery Show at DIM Art House. You can shop paintings from the comfy of your couch! We have a great collection of work from Illinois artists and all of them appreciate your interest!

The paintings viewed in the “show” will be available online!
Pickup, Delivery (within distance) & shipping available & can be worked out at time of sale.

Dim Art House artists Jeff, Joe & Christy have a few new paintings in addition to the guest artists we’ve gathered for the show. We will do this again in June with a new series. Join the fun and support local! This event is 100% free to attend online.

We will be sharing the gallery show at 3pm in a FACEBOOK LIVE walk-through! Give a shout out to the artists and support your local art!

A little love from IT

From the outside, Dim Art House looks like any other bungalow along MacArthur Avenue, save for the signpost on the lawn, which has already been creating a buzz, as artist Joey Wallace can attest. “The minute we threw up the sign, you could practically hear people saying, ‘What’s going on over there?'”
