DIM Art House presents out 2021 Holiday Shopping Extravaganza….

We are opening our doors with regular hours & (as always) you can schedule by appointment if needed.

This year we are showcasing artists each week in our weeee gallery rooms. The artist(s) will take over our wee, little room and sell directly to you! We also will have our partner artists selling a few pieces in the main gallery which will be filled with art by Christy, Jeff and Joe as well!

Saturday, November 13, Joe will do a LIVE walk through of the gallery and present the art and give you all a virtual update and opportunity to see the art. The gallery will be open to the public (masks requested).

Celebrating Black Artists in a Community Partnership with the Garvey – Tubman Cultural Arts and Research Center

John T. Crisp Jr. One Man Show. This show will highlight the many years of art work John T Crisp Jr. will have a meet and greet to talk to the public and do a video Q&A that will then be uploaded to the Website and Facebook page. His work will be up till the 17th of August so that you can mosey through and look at all the amazing art..

August 7 – Poetry

Poetry in Motion event will have poets for online viewing. Sharing their favorite poetry for the community. Highlighting African American Poets in the Springfield area.

August 14 – CHAHRM w/ Ada Lou

August 21 – Art Show

Local Visual artists will be represented in this incredible collection of art. Meet the artists aShowcasing African American BIPOC artist in and around the Springfield Area. This show will be up until the 5th of September so that all that want to come see can. Highlighting 10 artist.

August 28 – Critique

An intimate gathering of artists to discuss their works and share their process, meaning, The last of our events will be The Artist Critique. A Q&A portion to speak directly to the artist. A gathering of artist interpretations of Robots, UFOs and Off Planet Aliens. See a diverse assortment of area artwork from local known artists as well as new and up and coming talent!
Doors will be open to the public. We encourage mask wearing and social distancing – only allowing 6-10 humans in gallery at a time! But don’t fret! We have a large covered porch, nice back yard and plenty of parking!

Self Serving Gallery Show 2021

Starting the new year off with a DIM Artists “self-serving” gallery show. Christy, Jeff and Joe took over the gallery to share recent works. Proceeds will be used to help keep future gallery shows low cost/ free.
